<p>No I did not, I’m going off-campus and I don’t have financial aid. In addition, we’ll know all in due time. Though this seems pretty legit, since my friends who attend UCSD also used this.</p>

<p>So I dug around the privacy policy of that facebook app. The app is created by some company called Inigral Inc, and it looks like they do stuff like this for multiple universities. When you sign into the app, it asks for access to your “basic information.” Here’s the interesting part of the privacy policy that leaves me thinking “huzzah, I’m in”:</p>

<p>“Eligibility - Inigral operates principally by creating Schools App applications for colleges and universities (“Schools”). The Schools then provide accounts on the Inigral platform to their students. The Inigral Platform is available to persons over the age of 18 and to selected persons under 18 who are admitted to the Inigral Platform by Schools.”</p>

<p>The UC San Diego on Facebook link from @tsubukichan works. It only recognizes the email address I used for UCSD application. I tried entering another email address and it says “Sorry, that’s not a recognized email address. Is there another email address that you use with UC San Diego? If you’ve tried all the email addresses you can think of, please send us a message.” So it does search for UCSD applicants’ email addresses…whether it searches for all applicants or just admitted ones is another story.</p>

<p>So far I got the good housing message, completed financial aid info, and now Facebook. All I have to do now is wait for the official decision which can’t come soon enough.</p>

<p>@UCdrone No problem, brotha. Cal, UCLA, and lots of other big schools actually use Inigral too according to their website. Still, I also removed it cause I just don’t like being on people’s lists.</p>

<p>@UCSDBarbra Did you try guessing at what would be your UCSD email and use that to log in? Should be the first letter of your first name and then your last name @ucsd.edu. I gave that a go before trying my personal email, and it didn’t work.</p>

<p>BTW. for student email addresses, UCSD does not use first letter of your first name and then your last name @ucsd.edu.</p>
