<p>Indeed. I think advertising is a think lacking at CPP. I mean, on this very own website I have heard people praising the Claremont College’s location with “easy access to LA, temperate climate, the beaches, the mountains, Orange County, etc”, but somehow Cal Poly Pomona is in a polluted area, gets too hot, the city of Pomona is ghetto, there’s nothing to do… even-though they are literally 5 minutes (5.5 mile drive) from each other on the I-10. The first tow steps Cal Poly Pomona needs to take are: (1) set a realistic standard for admissions, and (2) transition into a residential campus. It’s such a shame that a university with such rich academic tradition and philanthropy (things most CSUs lack) is run by fools. Case in point: calpoly.edu vs csupomona.edu… for heaven’s sake…</p>
