<p>naps are simultaneously the worst and best things - usually at least once a week I will get home (7 pm), eat dinner, and then fall asleep for around 5 hours, telling myself that I only want to close my eyes for a minute.</p>
<p>i could nap right now (its 3pm here)… except i have my IB HL MATHS paper 3 tomorrow and the fastest way to a 5 is for me to take nap right now.
but, it is my last IB exam ever, I will have finished school, and after I get my hair done tomorrow afternoon and go out tomorrow night and get totally trashed, I’m going to sleep for 24 hours until my alumni interview.</p>
<p>Huh. Yale is missing some of my stuff but I KNOW it’s there because it’s been submitted and downloaded via CommonApp…should I call to ask them why that is? Because…that’s just odd. I guess I’ll talk to my counselor and see what she normally does when this type of situation occurs? Yeah? DANG.</p>

do they send out likely letters this early? or, do they recruit this early? i thought all that was left for the RD round.</p>
<p>yeah, they send out likelies for VERY VERY strong academic applicants and athletes</p>

i’m getting my first midterm report card marks this thursday and i’m supposed to send these marks as soon as i get them right?
my guidance counselor says she’s not sure how she should send them… (i’m in canada/guidance counselors aren’t very familiar with the whole process)

<p>and as for likelies my bestie is a rower and was offered admission to yale about 2 weeks ago. she declined. she also declined harvard. and accepted a full ride at university of iowa. but its completely different because she didnt apply to any of the schools they just contacted her saying “we are offering you admission” or something. went through some recruiting company. damn elite sports!</p>

<p>hey, i have a question for those of you who read the Yale SCEA 2009 thread and other stats threads on CC. when people fill in the “unweighted gpa [out of 4.0]” box, is the norm to put the academic (9-12) unweighted gpa, or the 10-12 unweighted gpa? just checking so that i know what’s up. good luck to everyone else who applied to yale.</p>
