2014 SCEA hopefuls?

The QB accepted applicants at Stanford posted their stats.

Nope, I’m from the middle of nowhere (well, my backyard is practically in Penn State, but a few miles off there’s nothing but cows and horses). :P

i was trying to find a consolidated questbridge thread, but unfortunately couldnt. maybe there are some questbridge kids who read this thread- a congratulations to every one of you! i feel really happy for you guys right now, and hope you enjoy senior year to the fullest- learning should be a lot of fun without a lot of the pressure that college/grades might create. congratulations again!

for the rest of us…heres to the wait

cheers :-)

jaylay - go to the College Admissions forum then there’s a stickied thread titled 2009 QB Match or something. Then it’s towards the back few pages and there’s people randomly posting their stats, lol

lol @ moosemaster. yup i def put that on my app. I’m still nervous tho. hahaha. You can never really get too confident.

No I’m not. two reasons: 1) paranoid 2) friends will think I’m weird

haha yes that is a promise! because I’ll be so exhilarated, I’ll pretty much do ANYTHINGGG yale related  um tea and scones? baha more like coffeeeee

oh you’re in university park? that’s cool. the farthest west I’ve ever been in PA is hershey :P

There are QB students who read this thread!

I’m sorry to say that on the Stanford board, it appears QB students are unwelcome in the Official Decisions thread.

that is ridiculous, exclusion is my biggest pet peeve.:(

It’s ridiculous. There are only two Stanford Matchees posting there anyways, but since we’re “a different applicant pool” we don’t qualify. It’s really frustrating, especially coming from my future classmates. At least there will be 6695 other students to befriend if they all get into Stanford :-)

Do QB acceptees count as RD applicants? I saw someone mentioned that in this thread… so if that’s true, then maybe the Stanford people just want to include the EA people only?

I don’t get why QB students can’t post in the regular decision thread. After all, I thought everyone would be curious about the stats of people who already got in.

Stupefy:

Coffee it is, tea and scones fit the Yale scene more but I would take triple chocolate mocha latte over them any day. And donuts with super happy chocolate swirl in the name. And also a serving of life force–you know, to make up for the amount I spent
helplessly worrying before the big 15. And all will be well…

Okay, the weekend before Dec 15, I’m going to buy all of these things moosemaster mentioned, store them for the big moment, and when I found out I got rejected/deferred, I’m going to treat myself with all the ice-cream and chocolate and everything and perhaps forget that I ever applied to Yale;)

Anyone tried the SCEA random decision generator on the Stanford board? It’s fun  haha

and they also called Yale’s EA “Early Decision”…lol

Two of my friends applied to Cornell and Penn ED and say that Cornell decisions are coming on the 10th and Penn on the 11th. Why can’t Yale be that early!!! The wait is just killing me because on the 15th I have the biggest AP BIO TEST ever! Why does Yale want to torment us!

^Yeah, this wait feels like it is taking forever… I have friends that have applied to those schools as well, and I’m SO jealous. Personally, I’m betting that Yale releases decisions on the 14th (and desperately hoping that they decide they don’t want to review any more apps over the weekend and release decisions on Friday Dec 11th) in order to decrease the amount of people checking at any giving time so that the site does not crash.

^ Yeah, that would be a smart idea. Yale is a smart place. They should have thought of that. Argh this wait is killin’ me.

how the hell did this thread get to be 66 pages long?

I wanna know…
Life is so different when apps are all done. I think the waiting might actually be harder than the actual applying part. At least when you’re applying, you feel like you have some control; here there’s nothing you can do…just hope…
