2014 SCEA hopefuls?

ooh no! MINE IS STILL THE SAME :(

Oh wait, I think that was self-inflicted. I randomly checked the “warn me before logging into other sites” last time so I bet that’s what happened. Sorry for the panic attack, haha. I was seriously debating whether or not to click proceed lol.

sigh of semi-relief, then another panic attack after remembering decisions come in less than two days We’re all going to die of stress, you know that, right? :/

omg so couple of days ago, it took a while for my app status page to load, (like it was redirecting from somewhere. according to my browser) I seriously had a heart attack. My heart just stopped beating! haha. so yea, I’m deff going to die on tues, prob even before I can open my page.

This thread is so great. We are all going to have anxiety attacks before we can even check.

^ I know, right?

I’m still half hoping yale will pull a stanford and release their decisions early. that seems less and likely as the minutes drag on

I must be the only one who hasn’t attempted to login…i’m waiting til you all tell me decisions are up :)

@renovatio: they probably won’t. I think they have a history of sending decisions out exactly on time. Stanford has been giving out results on the Fridays before the 15th.

@rocket6louise: :slight_smile: We’ll tell you.

I don’t really think that’s even an option, at this point. They updated their website last week to say that decisions are coming up this Tuesday. They wouldn’t update so close to the date if they weren’t absolutely certain they’d post decisions then. It doesn’t make sense. If anything, there could be a delay, which they warned is a possibility.

I’m actually not particularly stressed, more like mildly annoyed that I must wait. Also I’m annoyed people think I’m getting in, and if I don’t well…yeah.

^ i know that feeling too well

Hey guys one last thing. I posted a thread that kind of discussed this, but if Yale contacted an organization I worked for and came to the conclusion that I exaggerated my hours there, would Yale contact me or my GC b4 trashing my app?

I highly doubt they’d contact an organization. that would take so long if they did that for all the applicants

OMG WHAT IF THERE IS A POSTPONEMENT OF THE DECISION DATE?! i would DIE

^^^^

I worked 10 hours a week volunteering at the Red Cross along with working 30 hours at my lab this last summer. So, I could see how that would raise some eye brows. Plus, the RC didn’t register my hours worked over previous years. But, would they contact me b4 they did throw out my app on the off-chance they did look at it?

Sorry about pushing this question, but it really does concern me = /

Robbie

you know what is rough? everyone is telling me they’re sure i’m getting in, but obviously its a toss up. its gonna be hard to face people if i don’t.

^ That’s why I haven’t told anyone…not even my grandparents lol

^ but what do you say when people ask you?
i’ve had to tell around 40 ppl because friends, teammates, etc keep asking me

rt grove, quit it. you are pushing your point too hard - very current thread does not need a repeat of this question. red cross probably called you because they are short of volunteers at the moment and want to see if you want to do any more shifts. there are also 1000 other reasons why they could have called you. i honestly doubt yale called them, and even if they did, that red cross would bother calling you to tell you about it. if you somehow thought that red cross screwed up your chance at yale, you probably wouldn’t want to volunteer for them any more. why would any charity want to lose volunteers? now stop worrying!!

Haha will do totallysunshine!

Sorry about being obnoxious about that…it just really freaked me out =D.

Best Regards,
Robbie
