<p>Someone on another forum who is applying EA to Yale contacted a friend who works in admissions, and he said 4:30 to 5:30</p>
<p>I give up. My gut feeling tells me strongly that I’m not getting in. Heck, I didn’t even give an interview and my essays/resume sucked.</p>

<p>Slakedlime- don’t give up hope yet. I am in the same boat you are I didn’t get an interview and I live right outside of Dallas so I know there are plenty of alumni here! But it’s not over til the fat lady sings- or in this case the bulldog. I just wish my classes started before nine today I need distraction!</p>
<p>I just feel that in the best case scenario, that lack of an interview is what’s getting me deferred. My application seemed rather splodgy in places, and I was hoping that Yale would at least contact my school/me to get to know more. But ahh, I give up. I just ended my hunger strike with coffee and am going to do my eco homework. And maybe I’ll stay up all night (10pm here) chatting on MSN with a friend (who didn’t apply this year so he has nothing to rub in :P) if I can’t sleep.</p>

<p>I was just checking the yale website and I have a theory as to why they are posted at 5:00! That’s when the admissions office closes and I bet they dont want to be inundated with angry phone calls while they’re still open. This gives people a day to cool down before they call up angrily</p>
