Oh and does anyone know-- I know this is semantics but I think it’ll make a difference when the day rolls around-- anyone know what time on the 15th the decisions are released? midnight? noon?

oh ya oops 43 days
geez why do i always haev trouble with counting stuff

about 5-6 pm on dec 15th?

northcountry, I think decisions were released at 5 pm last year.

Tres Elefantes: “percyshelley, I think that’ll be all right. How exactly did your school send in three on accident?”

My school uses Naviance to handle recs, and I had three total recs uploaded: one for Michigan rolling, two for Yale. I told my counselor that only two of them should go to Yale, but, being swamped with work, I assume, she forgot, sent all three, and thought nothing more of it.

Blahhhhhh. Hope it will be OK. Looking forward to getting my Eli account. I don’t know if there was a discussion about this earlier in the thread, but what’s everyone thinking of majoring in? I’m an English man myself - boring, right?

^yeah last year it was 5pm

Is anyone here friends with Elihu Yale on Facebook?

I’m curious enough that I want to friend him but at the same time, I’m afraid they might look too much into my profile or something and find reasons to reject me,
haha. I mean, there’s nothing bad on there, but many of my statuses are about my procrastination and condemning the college application process, ha!

I’m majoring in English also, with a creative writing emphasis.

Anyway, somebody really should let me know about that FB group!

Tres Elegantes, you’ll want to PM its.been.real!!! Haha unfortunately everyone on the facebook group is wayyy more active on FB than on CC now!

Tristan, I’m friends with Elihu Yale!
Don’t worry, it’s just a group of awesome undergrads who leave notes, update events and most of all, answer questions. They’re probably too busy/flooded with questions to be snooping around! :D

Got my ELI account today as well!
Anyone here interested in the Ethics, Politics, and Economics (EPE) major?

That’s what I put as my prospective major, “Melody.”

PS, I’m officially adding you on Facebook.

What’s up guys? I have always peeked around on here but I never really said anything lol partly because of the fact that I forgot my username/password. But to all you guys who got your Eli account information, how long did it take after you applied to recieve the e-mail?

Thanks guys!

i am friends with Elihu Yale on facebook-no worries. I am an open book anyway. Percy-my school is looking at adopting Naviance. Do you like it?
I am so pumped about knowing for sure whether Yale is in my future or not. Good luck to all!!!

that sounds interesting but I put economics for my major. my second choice as of now would probably be political science

@seattleyj- that really only applies if you have a public facebook page. if your FB page is private, colleges cant see anything but your profile pic and name

@Stupefy

I believe seattleyj was addressing emily2010

my school is too stupid for naviance because 90% of kids end up going to one of the community colleges or the local state college

Okay, I shall. Can’t wait to meet y’all (or some of you, anyway) on FB! It’ll be more fun than Farmville.

Yes, I have no experience with this Naviance website. What is it, exactly?

Hey guys, just wondering… how long after you apply do you get your Eli account?

My facebook is clean, anyways!
Yay Tres Elefantes! PM me, we can be facebook friends ![]()
Hahaha I’m sooo going to start playing Farmville after I finish all the work I owe after spending all my time on college apps/getting the flu (not swine flu, don’t worry!) to see what all the commotion is about hahaha.
