college admissions are so random though. i’m trying to tell myself not to worry too much about it.</p>

it was just yesterday when i counted 60 something days</p>

<p>How are you guys going to check your decision? Alone? With your family? Are you going to make someone else check it for you? When? In the evening? First thing in the morning?</p>
<p>I have finals the day after the 15th; I’m not even sure I want to see it at aallllll. (Well, that’s a lie. But I don’t want to be a wreck the next day!)</p>

thats exactly how I planned on doing it. until I realized Id rather find out through sight than hearing

<p>I’m going it alone as soon as they are posted (five o’clock EST, I think? So four here?). I’m thinking I’ll close my eyes and listen for the fight song also. :[</p>
<p>From what I’ve heard, the system usually crashes and some people end up having to wait for an hour or more. So, closing your eyes and waiting for the fight song to start up might not be the best idea. :)</p>
<p>I believe they’ve been posted at 5:00 EST for the past couple of years. The only thing we know for sure is that all Ivies post their decisions at the same time for the two admissions cycles (EA and RD).</p>

<p>im going to wait for the mail to come. it would be so much more exciting to find out by post, not knowing exactly when it will arrive…
and being in australia it will probably take like 10 days 
but if it doesn’t arrive before christmas… then i’ll go online.</p>

<p>So from the recent posts, im assuming that if one were to check his/her acceptance by online, the music of Yale’s bulldog, or whatever, will play?
