Compared to the Chem Olympiad (USNCO) examinations, the AP Chem test is elementary. I think people find AP Chem difficult because their teachers emphasize math instead of conceptual understanding.

I haven’t got the time to read through 93 pages of posts, but great job to everyone who took AP exams this year and were so eager to do well on them! It sounds like there were tons of great scores going around, you guys really are the cream of the crop xD. I took AP US History this year and got a 5 on it, which was very surprising because the second essay was extremely difficult to compose after a 7-page DBQ, and one of the short answer questions was not something I had ever studied! Just goes to show you how lenient these test graders are xD. Looking forward to a packed AP schedule next year and exploring new subjects! Good luck to everyone in their future endeavors and I hope you all are happy with your scores!

Super sad about bio even though I got exactly what I expected. Took too long answering the first couple questions and ran out of time

I got a 2 on Lang. I was honestly preparing myself for a 3 because I was hoping for a 4… I got 3’s-4’s on practice exams… I am in shock… No idea how I got a 2. :((
Chemistry: 3 (it was a really hard test for me, but it was exactly what I predicted)
Calculus AB: 2 (was predicting a 3 at least, F#%K calculus hahah)
English Lit: 4 (was predicting a 5 actually. Really aced the class and all practice tests. I guess overconfidence didn’t help)
Spanish Lit: 5 (native speaker here, no surprise)
Anyone know much about the APID (AP International Diploma)??? I have scores that should qualify for this award since I received AP Scholar with Distinction last year. But this year I happen to have no award whatsoever.

Hey, I think I qualified for AP Scholar (3 APs with a score of 3 or better - right?):

It just isn’t showing up, apparently it’s supposed to be next to the year you achieve it. Anybody have a similar problem? I’m going to wait because the site says they’ll email you if you earn an award as well. If it doesn’t show up I guess I’ll have to contact them.
If it makes any difference I’m not supposed to have my score until 8 AM July 7th. I used Tor to access them early.
If i used white out correction tape on the psych free response will my scores be annulled? I’m in CA and won’t find out till Friday, but I’m stressing out

I’m going to get my C and B- in AP Bio bumped up to an A+ now, that’s exciting… but I really expected 4/5 on AP Lang, it was my best class I felt. I had solid 4s and 5s on practice tests, so this was my biggest blindside.
