damn, from reading these comments it seems like getting a 5 on chem was pretty damn hard. i think only 8% worldwide got a 5.
Is there a way to see what questions you missed or got correct? Or to see how you did on the multiple choice versus the FRQ?
Please see comment 1616!!! I need feedback on my scores, especially my physics score. Thank you!
No
@awesomesauce55 The scores are fine. Congratulations. AP scores, however, play little to no role in the admissions process; they are mainly used for credit and/or placement.
Sorry if this is a bit late, but my scores were:
AP Biology- 5 (expected, I guess I just understood bio throughout the year)
AP World- 5 (shocked, expected a 4 because I thought my CCOT and DBQ were completely wrong and awful)
Late but…
Was anyone else surprised anyone else surprised about their AP World score? I got a 4 but I 100% expected a 5 because I thought my essays were amazing but I guess not… Did this happen to anyone else?
@cocolover123
I know how u feel
but how did you know that you scored 3s on the frqs? I would like to know what I got on mine
I’m depressed about mine, AP Psych exam would’ve been fine but I totally forgot a major component in the written portions and ugh T^T (>3)
Hey AP Chem takers-
As you all know, there were a couple different forms of the May AP Chemistry Exam, with the alternate ones obviously being astronomically more difficult than the most commonly administered version. Though CB claims to “equate” the exams, it clearly did not happen for this specific test. (Many in my class, Reddit, CC, etc, felt the same.) I sent a formal email to the CB explaining this. It would be a big help if those members of the 3% of tests takers who took the alternate form (if your FRQs are not the ones posted online, you got the harder test.) could also send in a short, formal email. Maybe if they see a trend, they’ll take another look at the alternate forms of the exams, or offer some helpful clarification that can work in our favor. Spread the word!
Thank you!
@XCacademic I’m sorry, but College Board is probably not going to change the scores because of a few upset test takers. They equate the exam. If you are disappointed with your score, it’s because you didn’t perform well enough. They don’t gain anything by cheating you out of a higher score.
@PhilipL This post was aimed at the optimistic population who both took the alternate form of the AP Chem exam and were interested in contacting the College Board. Thank you for your insight.
@XCacademic I took AP Chem and the exam.
@XCacademic I didn’t take the alternate form of the AP Chem exam though. You could try to e-mail College Board. It wouldn’t hurt anything!!
@Skylar789 Thank you

I don’t think AP scores affect your admission. I think it’s only to decide if you get credit for the courses or not.
Little late, but finally got my scores!
AP Lang: 2 (because I ran out of time on the MC and guessed on like, half of them.)
AP French: 5 (foreign language of thing, so of course I was going to ace this one.)
