@megan343 that looks good. i think you’ll be okay. legacy is good too! I’m a sophomore transfer with 44 credits 3.64 GPA 4.0 with 22 units this spring semester. hope it all turns out well

@eoverland yeah I’m Marshall too. I got in last year out of high school, but couldn’t go for personal circumstances. But I applied this year so I am a sophomores with 45 units and 4.0 both semesters. Still nervous though

I am also a Marshall applicant and have not heard back. Is it just me or does it seem like fewer people have posted about rejections on this thread compared to other years?
@Kraz4CocoPuffs i think they might let in qualified sophomore applicants for spring maybe? i just called and we will hear by friday according to my counselor.

@megan343 it literally makes no sense for them to not let you in. just wait! they’re just making sure that people aren’t going to enroll probably!
@chjd22 he is just my application counselor. he is also the bay area admissions counselor so i dont kno wif that means that he only does bay area applicant or all marshall (my boyfriend, also from the bay got into marshall last week). i am assuming that we will all know by thursday night or friday morning.

I’m also a Marshall applicant. Submitted my spring grades on June 22nd. I’m still waiting for a response. My counselor said they are working to get responses out as soon as possible and to keep checking my email and portal for updates. This wait is killing me!

All marshall applicant, what are your second major choice? If we are not consider for marshall, due to limited space, how likely will we be accepted to our second major choice? My second choice is economic/mathematic. I feel like my chance of getting into my second alternative major is slim since I’ve only taken calc 1 and 2, and they require calc 3.
I am still waiting for a response from USC admissions. Like the rest of you who have not yet received a response I also feel like this is torture. I am a Viterbi applicant that got SGR back in May 20th and submitted my spring grades a few days after that. I have been checking the portal everyday since then, with a hope of seeing some change. I feel like the Viterbi applicants are the ones that have had less responses thus far. I hope to get a notification by Friday afternoon at the latest. I hope all of you here still waiting get in.

@itslife123 I know right? I stopped checking my portal for the past 2 weeks because I pretty much accepted the fact that I wasn’t going to be accepted. But this came out of no where.
Maybe I’m a fall admit because of the amount of classes I had finished? I’m not quite junior standing (still need 2-3 more classes), compared to your friends. Maybe they wanted me in earlier to finish up the classes? No idea.
My GPA for spring was 3.5. Hope this helps.
@Panzer403 I am in the same boat as you but I am also a TTP. Both of my older brothers went to USC and my grandfather graduated with his mastrers from USC in the 1940s. I have a 3.55 from SMU and built a race car for Formula SAE with 5 other kids.
