I have been lurking around this thread for almost everyday. Today May the 5th, I finally got admitted after I check you.usc.edu this morning. Just to let y’all know I am truely grateful for all of you guys’ helps. I have no access to OASIS at all.

If we have updates to tell admissions,is it best to tell them through and email to our counselor or by adding a file in the additional info section on you usc?
You do not hear back 2-3 weeks after SGR… the website itself says that it can be as late as Mid-July…
I guess it really depends when you will be finished with finals and all grades available to be sent
So I just check my YouSC account and I didn’t have a message or get an email yet, but under required documents it now says it needs my transcript. I’m assuming this is for my spring grades? The past few days I had no required documents, so confused why I haven’t gotten an email about it or something specifically asking for new grades…

@Sxsxjx it depends on when you send it. The website says that decisions won’t be made until June 1st and here it is May and people have already been receiving decisions?
And from going from past threads people were updated on their decision 2-3 weeks after submitted their spring grades.
But yes it just depends on when you submit the grades…
@ctp369 Congratulations on your acceptance. I am genuinely happy for you. You mentioned that OASIS and SGR does equal acceptance, and I agree with that. I was just wondering if you did have access to OASIS though. And if you do, what date does it say under your Restrictions?
I don’t think she or he had access to Oasis. I believe it was stated in the beginning ^
My son saw a SGR on his portal a couple days ago. Good thing one of you reported what the instructions were because the letter on his portal was just page one and did not include the instructions it said were “enclosed.” He is a TTP applicant to Marshall from a 4-year university. The request was not emailed and hasn’t come in regular mail either.
@jazzshreddermom what are the instructions to send one?? Didn’t see that but have to send my transcript once I get my grades in a few days…
Also would you guys say it’s generally a good sign if you’re asked for a spring grade report? since it’s not an outright deny lol
i have a couple of questions.
- when specifically did those who have been admitted submit their application compared to when they heard back? i’m getting the sense that USC is doing rolling admissions/decisions. does this affect those who submitted their applications last?
- how are those who have not been admitted getting access to OASIS? just trying their birthday as the password and by luck having it work?
- if you have been accepted already, did you receive a notification to check your portal via email? or did it just appear on your portal without any warning?
- does anyone know of anyone who has received rejection letters/decisions yet?
Accessing OASIS is random chance, and multiple accepted students did not have access to it before acceptance.
