@SmokedHam CS. I know CS at irvine is good but In my mind I’m already commited to USC. Despite having applied to housing and paying the deposit already…

@SmokedHam Ya, If i get in with good aid, I’m gonna be cancelling everything tho. The reason I did, is because I’m not even sure if i’ll get my financial aid before the 31st. So better safe than sorry.
Has anyone else gotten complete trash financial aid? Legit called them and their like yup your family have NO financial need whatsoever.
Guys, unless you can afford $73,000 a year getting admitted is only half the battle. Don’t make the mistake I made and get too excited about USC when you initially get admitted. Wait until you get your financial. Though, hopefully you guys will have better luck then I do!

Since on the topic,
Besides USC, what are your guy’s backups and how do you feel about them? I have UCLA and UCI only since I missed the May 1st deadline for CSU’s and UCSB. I’m not interested in UCLA at all though and UCI isn’t a bad option for business admin, but I’m kind of on the fence.

@jonathaanv that’s definetly a tough decision if USC doesn’t work out. I guess at that point it’s whether you value going to a true business school or that UCLA prestige
@SmokedHam it’s weird because I was called by them a while ago and they told me I had to answer by May 1st or something like that. But yeah you’re right, I checked and it is June 1st,
@BusinessBrah yeah it is. I only applied to UCLA for name sake alone. Nothing about the school really interests me. I’m from NorCal so the rivalry is irrelevant for me, but I’d only move to LA for Marshall. I’m trying to find options for admission in NorCal like Davis if things don’t work out.
@jonathaanv You would consider Davis over UCI and UCLA? I mean I got into UCI bus admin and managerial Econ at Davis but never really considered Davis since UCI’s Merage is actually fairly good. I’m curious why you’re thinking Davis?

@BusinessBrah @jonathaanv yeah I also got into UC Davis managerial Econ and haven’t even looked into it at all… any good out of it ? And about ucla I also did it just for the name sake and also for rubbing it into the faces of the AP kids from my senior year who used to look down on me when I decided to take the community college route LOL. But when I went to bruin day I did go to the accounting and entrepreneurship minor tents which seemed pretty cool? I really wish I was admitted to USC so I could make the easy decision cause if I do fall back on my second choice I’ll feel like I’ll always miss USC lol
