I got my financial aid today. USC gave me a really GOOD grant! I’d say my family is in the middle class… and honestly I was nervous that other people were getting bad packages.
I was just like at least it’s Friday! But it is definitely not Friday.

do u guys think sgr’s could be coming out next week? or mostly acceptances/rejections
@forksinmybox Rejections comes in the end. Because it would be extremely inefficient to go 1 by one like 1 acceptance 1 rejection. What i think they do is Admit/SGR everyone, and those who weren’t good enough will get rejected at the end. That’s what I think.
@forksinmybox, based on last year, a lot of the rejections were post-marked on the 27th, but were received around the 30th, but the previous days were still acceptances and SGRs

I’m just 90% expecting a rejection now. The other 10% is flickering dimly.
@ngujo96 omg I do the same thing lol like every night I check my portal to the very last moment before I go to sleep around 1 AM, and I say to my self everytime: no one is awake in USC admission, and if they are they are definitely NOT behind their systems updating the portals! Lol
But I CANT STOP CHECKIN MY DAMN PORTAL 
@itslife123 LOL, I swear, I don’t understand how some of these teachers are able to get positions as professors in CC (especially engineering).
That’s one thing I definitely look forward to, better professors , or so I’ve been told, at the university level.

@aurora7 everytime the portal takes a wee longer to load, my heart skips and I’m like MAAYYBEE and then i see the same portal I’ve seen for the past 3 and a half months hahaha
@mellyjune literally same! or sometimes it glitches and makes me have to log in again after fifteen minutes of being logged in and I am like yes. I need to re-log in urgently to be surprised. This! is! it!

@cool786 While I like to think this is true, my teacher rn is/or was a mathematics professor at UCLA, so pretty contradicting at the moment…
does anybody know why usc sends rejection letters through the mail? (or maybe i’m misinformed)
@Aurora7 your actually right checking ur portal at 1 am b/c most decisions are automatically sent between 1am-2am,
