Hey fellow Marshall admits/applicants/current students that are following this thread. So I was just looking over my CC’s articulation history to try and see what classes I took will transfer over and I saw this when looking at transfer restrictions:
“Business and accounting majors will not receive units toward the major for business or accounting transfer courses unless the USC academic department makes an exception. All transfer students seeking admission must complete the articulated prerequisite courses for admission consideration.”
Does anyone who had an actual admissions counselor or talked to admissions knows what this means? Does it mean that the only classes that transfer over are GE and the Calc and English requirements? Would we then have to start from the beginning and re-take all lower div classes? Or would the classes that we took for business/accounting transfer over and we would come in as junior status and be able to take upper div classes immedietly?

@Chasexm Yes it’s a package notification! I got a text from USPS telling me to TEXT YES so that im subscribed to USPS Text Tracking, but it was weird cuz I registered 4 days ago, so I checked the actual portal a few hours ago and it says Package from USC scanned at 8:30 PM. Good luck to you man! I was honestly losing my mind cause I haven’t heard back in so long! I’ll post my stats tomorrow when I get my actual package for those interested.

Hey guys! I just checked my USPS dashboard and it says I have a package coming from USC, it was scanned tonight at 8:25 PM but the delivery date says unknown. Am I getting my hopes up or are my dreams becoming a reality?
Almost makes me want to get up and go check my PO Box in the morning, lol. But I’m pretty sure I’m not gonna hear back any time soon. Ugh, I can imagine how crazy I’d be if correspondences were going to my home address instead.

i wonder if it’s possible for me to get a straight up acceptance, but perhaps I’m getting ahead of myself. Been feeling hopeful lately.
@Sydmonn96 how do you set up to get notifications from USPS?
I’m freaking out right now!! When do you guys think it will arrive?? It says “in transit”
@bmannn10 if you go to the website my.usps.com and make a profile, you can check it and get notifications 
@Sydmonn96 Depends on how far away from LA you are, among other things. Some people have gotten their’s in 1-2 days from postmarked date.
If it’s priority mail, it shouldn’t take that long.

I am a Marshall applicant and have not heard anything from USC except for request for Winter Grade(im on quarter system). Just wanna ask, how much GE completion is considered “safe”? I got 6/8 for Core Literacy Requirement(must take at least 2 courses in USC), and 1/2 for Global Perspectives. Am I safe for GE?
My GPA is 4.0, from De Anza, no W no F, with couple honors classes taken, active in students government, english tutor, etc but I am taking Calculus( major requirement) during Spring and I don’t know If it is certain that I will receive SGR =.= Anyways, that’s not very important up to this point about SGR.
@lalanguyen96 I’m at de anza too, applied with 4.00 and got a winter grade request in April. Still haven’t heard anything.
@uscdream19 Sorry for all the questions, but one last thing. Who was your counselor? Was is Guevara?
