2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

@greenpotatoe Your comment is giving me hope, because i’m a CSE applicant, not CS, haha.

I just checked the mail two minutes ago and expected to be dejected
BUT I GOT IN!!!

@usc2563 Nice!!! what was your major?

@cool786 sociology!

Does anybody know how long it’s taking for the portal to update after receiving a decision? I’ve (obviously) not gotten a decision yet, but it’s a long weekend here in Canada through to Monday, so I won’t be getting any mail!
(On that note, do any of y’all know what ~time~ the portal updates at? I’ve heard that it’s random, but I’ve also seen the magic “12am PST” being thrown around on here)

congrats @usc2563!!

@Aurora7 Ah okay, so anxious, but thanks for the reminder! :slight_smile:

.

@usc2563 congrats!!!

Congrats to everyone being admitted!!

Any Industrial Engineer majors here?

seemed like another small wave of Marshall acceptances passed by and I didn’t get anything…isn’t next week rejection week?

@CPPSebas I am

I would say the past day or 2 has def been a wave, one which I was not part of lmao.

@usc2563 congrats on your acceptance!!! Now I’m starting to get nervous :(( can you post your stats and the date the letter was dated?

OMG I JUST GOT MY ADMISSION PACKAGE!!!

I live in greater LA.
Applied for Viterbi Compute engineering and Computer Science, junior transfer. I didn’t get any notification from USPS so I was very upset LOL

Nice, been getting really nervous lately, and this chat hasn’t been helping lmaoo.
May I ask what your stats are? @greenpotatoe

@bmannn10 thank you!

I’ll post my stats on the other page later today

But a quick overview! Acceptance was dated yesterday, arrived this morning.

3.9 GPA with 6/8 GEs done this semester.

Do you all think acceptances will continue next week? Everyone keeps saying the last weeks of May is when rejections roll out.

@bmannn10 next week will roll out the last ‘big’ wave of decisions, while the final week of May consist largely of rejections, there are a few acceptances as well

@bmannn10 Yea, they’re going to have to. USC is actually currently behind on applications, but admissions will continue to roll out, especially if your major hasn’t heard back yet.
