2017 - 2018 USC Transfer

//screams softly at Dornsife

screams in Annenberg

@srg999 I applied 12/1 and haven’t received a decision. Have any SCA applicants spoken with admissions recently?

Okay I just called Annenberg admissions, and like @jake94 said yesterday, most of the decisions will be released tomorrow on Thursday :slight_smile:
So tomorrow will be a big day for Annenberg applicants so be sure to check MyUSPS tomorrow!

Thank you @jake94 and @ashurikko for calling them and letting us know!!

@ashurikko awesome! I’m glad they told you the same thing! Hope we all hear something soon

Just called Marshall admissions and they said they have a slight delay but we’ll hear something before June 1st :confused:

@fiddleleaf123 I haven’t tried contacting them because it doesn’t really matter what they say, there’s still a chance we’ll hear back after any time frame they give us. Other schools I’ve applied to have been saying everyone should hear back “in a week or so” for the last month and a half.

Does anyone know if Dornsife is on the same page as the other schools? Will they start releasing sometime this week or next week (before June 1st)?

I wish I could find out what’s goin on in Viterbi admission office rn … sigh …

Got my package today and was accepted to my 2nd choice major, Poli Sci, for Spring. The letter was dated may 23.

@random231 congrats!

@random231 what was your first-choice major and are you a sophomore applicant? (assuming since you got spring admission)

Waiting for my Viterbi decision is the ultimate test of patience.

Does anyone know when Dornsife applicants are supposed to hear back?

my first choice major was communications. I assume I’m a sophomore applicant, I have 48 units completed with 13 in progress.

Hey guys, reached out to my counselor & responded back within minutes. I got a SGR and we are potentially setting up a meeting in July is that a good thing or bad?

Info for future applicants perusing the forum: USC doesn’t like Ws on transcripts, it’s true, but they’re forgiving and really are holistic with their application review if you explain why you had them and if those reasons are “valid” reasons. I had three Ws (which I never divulged on the thread before for reasons,) because of family problems I was having at the time and got in without an SGR.

What did you write in the email @Jesus0512

@JaytotheB thank you for that information!
