I called USC Admission to ask about my status and the person on the phone said I should be receiving the letter either this week or next.

really? idk if I should call and ask. I think decisions should be up to Wednesday. If not then I guess we wait for the letter.

well before my spring grades i got an A in calc I and II and then a B in calc 3
A in physics I-III
A in computer science
B in both gen chems and A in both ochems
and in the spring i got an A in modern phys and A in differential equations
A note to future applicants–get to know your counselor and stay in touch. You should have all the contact information handy and for those who were SGR’d and had to wait for your semester/quarter to end in order to send in the official transcript, you could have opted to send in the unofficial transcript first so your counselor has something to work from. Don’t assume your counselor can interpret trends; spell it out for them. They are dealing with countless applicants. Sign up for the USPS notification too and respond quickly to every request. Just contacted my Admission Counselor and received an email stating that he is on holiday until the 17th July!

@buizchick do you happen to be in the LA area? Wondering if those in the LA area are receiving them earlier than those out of state just because of location.
Hi, I was wondering if anyone has appealed and not heard back yet? My counselor is Rakin Hall and he is still out of the office… Not sure what to make of that but I called the office and they say there is no official appeal process and decisions could come well after school starts. Thanks for the help
