@DiotimaDM Yes, my D is interested (as of now) in aerospace engineering. That’s why Bama and ASU made it to the list, and why UNM, UTD and TT (and some other) didn’t. On the other hand, she knows things change in college, and she might switch to mechanical instead, or out of engineering altogether. So that’s what makes it slightly more complicated.
The reason for me to consider Bama is pricing - it’s more generous than OU (especially after you count free housing first year and $2.5K engineering scholarship). Plus the pricing overall seems much more straightforward compared to OUs myriad of expensive fees not covered by NMF offer.
