2019-2020 USC Transfer

@norcagh mine still says unavailable

acceptances should start getting mailed out next week for Dornsife and Marshall

I’m wondering the same thing. My son applied to Marshall. He is a freshman at Emory now with a 4.0 and on the deans list will have 50 credits at the end of this semester including AP classes. He had a 33 ACT composite and 34 super score all A’s in high school. And no SGR??

@Trashception Thanks! I really hope to get into USC. I might stay at Pepperdine if I am choosing between Pepperdine and UCSD.

Can anyone please check their portal and tell me if they have a statement, “if you are currently enrolled in college coursework during the Fall 2018 term, please send your transcript that includes your fall grades.” I’m freaking out now because under my checklist it says they have my college transcript already.

@GotYa55 same with me. and Also I got check mark with college transcript for my university.

@GotYa55 I have the same thing. College transcript was submitted months ago.

@blmcali99 @norcagh Oh okay, since you guys have it too then it must’ve been a reminder bahah

@blmcali99 I think that not having any clue about what’s going on is what makes the wait brutal. You said you haven’t seen any updates to your portal since January and that’s the situation some of us are experiencing. You’re not alone. :frowning:

my planning worksheet is still unavailable

@itsgoingtobeokay How do you get to the planning worksheet?

@sagaciousforever congratulations! I got accepted to UCSD for intl business as well but in Marshall College. Not hearing back from USC is driving me insane and it feels like UCSD might be the only Marshall that I get into ha!

@itsgoingtobeokay mine is too

@AFutureStudent it’s in your FAST, click on the tab for “Planning Worksheet”

@CookieMnstr Ik :frowning: I just want to hear something from USC next week (hopefully). So I can actually plan stuff. And yeah it’s so brutal.

@whostolemycookie Nice! Do you know the difference between Marshall and Roosevelt? Which school is the strongest in academics?

@sagaciousforever So I was accepted to UCSD twice, once in ERC and once in Marshall. Can’t speak for Roosevelt.
However, each school has their own set GE reqs, so you should familiarize yourself with that. I don’t think any school is stronger in academics than the other as they do not compete with each other and houses students from all kinds of majors. While Revelle is commonly known as the one with a lot of engineers, there’s also non-engineering majors. ERC has a lot of International Studies major because of their GE reqs.
I’m not a student there so talking to a current student might give you more insight. The info I have is mostly from research back in my senior year of HS when I almost enrolled, and from a family member who’s a STEM senior at ERC.

Question about WGR: Do they just want an unofficial transcript attached to the portal, or should I be requesting another official transcript be mailed by my college? My school takes forever to mail official transcripts for some reason. I’ve had to order some 3-4 times, so I’d rather not go through that process again if it isn’t necessary.

@whostolemycookie Actually, Warren is known to be the college that houses the most engineering students because all of their classes are located right next to it.

any other non TTP incoming sophomores who haven’t received a SGR/WGR or a decision yet?

@itsgoingtobeokay

I’m a non TTP incoming sophomore with not SGR/WGR or a decision. I applied to Marshal and finished both English and Math requirements last semester with a 4.0.
