Has USC sent out any rejection yet?
@potatotush I am waiting on the financial aid package before I officially submit my SIR. I’d say try again in the morning. If it still doesn’t work, call the admission office and let them know you’re having problems.
@vegastransfer will do, thanks! and hope you get a big package!
does anyone know if there will be some decisions released tomorrow ??? do they ever release them on fridays ?
perhaps but nobody knows for sure @beachlover48
@trnsferorbust I’m a computer science engineering major too!! Bachelor of science
@USCAAA after this semster ill have 72 Units, I have gotten all I have gotten all A’s up until last semster I got a B in geography and Trig. Now that i got spring requested for this semster i have all A’s in 4 Classes, and I might get a B in my Calc class.
The best we can do now fellas is hang tight and stay strong. There is nothing we can do at this point and we might as well just have a little fun while we wait. Hopefully, we all get in tomorrow if there’s a wave.
@bballboy98 this is my situation I’m a junior applicant with business calc left to do but I have gotten A’s in both of my Econ and accounting courses. Currently taking business calc but no SGR. Been reading lots of people posts seem interesting.
@beachlover48 It’s been about 4 years since my decision, but my acceptance letter had Friday’s date on it. I received my package on Saturday. It seems like most people are finding out on their portals. I’m rather local to USC, so I don’t know if that’s why my acceptance packet beat the portal.
Also, on the other end of things, I remember seeing my rejection PDF shortly after midnight on my portal. This was 5 years ago though and an older version of the portal (USConnect anyone?), so I don’t know if that’s still typical of rejections.
I hate how the informed delivery gives me updates for mail for other people in my house like my mother. I wish there was a way to change it to only mail addressed to me with my name on it
I just finished my spring semester. Didn’t get an SGR but planning on emailing my unofficial to my counselor as well as upload it in the portal. Do you guys know if I should send my official too?
Yea @asn009
I would not send your official transcript until you are accepted. There is no point in adding extra paperwork for admissions if you end up not getting accepted.
People that have gotten SGRs, are you looking at 4.0s for the end of the semester?
@Zoe528 Yep, I think so. How about you?
how did u guys verify ur identity for informed delivery???
Hey, guys. I would like to ask I accepted by economics major in Dornslife college, but can I have a chance to change to another major or declare major like accounting or business administration if I choose to go to USC.
While changing majors within Dormsife is easy, transfers don’t usually have time to transfer to business from Dornsife because of prerequisite chain required to get in to Marshall. You have to complete those then apply, it is a process not just a switch. So it depends on which courses you have done and what has to be done before applying. It may be doable depending on what you have completed, but you may have to pay for extra semesters to do that. You can stay as long as you like if you can pay for it. Either way you go to an orientation on transferring into Marshall then apply, it’s more than just saying you want to switch.
Hi guys, i got an SGR, emailed into my advisor with the unofficial transcript who clarified it was meant to be a WG, emailed again and when she confirmed she got it she said to make sure I send in an official transcript with winter grades in as well. Does anyone know why they would need an official even if I haven’t been admitted or gotten a decision yet?
