As @Tuttwirl said it may take a while. For those applicants that have not heard back yet, please submit a SIR to another institution. There’s no guarantee that everyone will get good news. Though I sure do wish it.
@Jiminlovee is this for all UCs or specific to UCLA? My admission contract says it needs to be received by the school by June 1?
@transferusc88 I’m around LA as well but I’ve got a overseas transcript from doing a summer abroad. I’m worried that won’t arrive in time
@sagaciousforever There definitely will be more acceptances because Annenberg has heard absolutely nothing including SGRs if I’m correct.
@sagaciousforever Yes I was SGR’ed April 28th, received my portal acceptance June 12th. It’s good you already put spring grades up.

@mase31 You’re right. I was so nervous leading up to my decision that I had problems completing normal tasks without checking my portal every 5 minutes. As a freshman reject to USC, getting the transfer acceptance was so sweet
@HeyItsNick True. However, submitting a SIR may relieve some of that pent up anxiety! At least it did for me haha
Some people will be accepted for the fall and find out in July. I know that it really doesnt matter when/what time you are accepted everyone is treated and cared for the same.
@transferusc88 Yeah I know who mine is, I asked him if I needed to submit a SGR because I had been seeing a lot of people asked to submit them and I hadn’t been asked for one. He said it wasn’t needed for everyone unless they requested one.

Just got an SGR email. I’m a Dornsife applicant with math and writing requirements in progress.

I uploaded my winter grades at the end of April (quarter system) and they removed it from the portal… (the counselor said she had received it but then later I found that they removed it… ) Does that mean a straight rejection…
Even when the 31st rolls around and Annenberg drops decisions I know they’re probably going to ask me for an SGR because I have math in progress. I mean maybe not but I just have this feeling. So I’m just gonna SIR somewhere else honestly and just wait. There’s no way I can wait until late June early July because I gotta find housing at UCSB it I don’t hear anything soon. This is getting so frustrating I wish they had just one day like the UCs and not rolling admissions. I’ve wanted USC for so long and now this is just getting to be stressful.
