Honestly I didn’t even think about applying here but I remember getting mail from USC to apply as a transfer so I thought why not?
However, my mom passed away when I was a freshman in high school. I found out she wrote she wanted me or my siblings to go to Stanford, USC, or UCLA and was trying to figure out the tuition and planning to pay for it.
Oh please now I’m emotional again ?
I really can’t believe it though. I was rejected by Berkeley which is fine by me, accepted to UCSD and UCI, and waitlisted by UCLA. Now I gotta decide between Irvine and USC
@Chez59 I got into UCSD as well but I only want USC. I applied from Pepperdine so UCSD is not that much better. Basically, I will stay at Pepperdine if not USC.
Also, does anyone know if it is possible to NOT attend orientation? I am out of state and it would be almost impossible to go to LA before school starts.
I think I’ve been possibly rejected ?because I’m a dornsife applicant from a California cc and my gpa is 3.3 but I was hoping USC would have a “holistic” view as they claim
With the holiday on Monday, we’re looking at Tuesday as the closest possible date for more decisions. Ugh, I hope they surprise by working overtime and releasing more tomorrow.
@ari2021 same. I had a bad fall semester which literally brought me down from a 3.78 to a 3.4 just because of one class. They honestly just say they’ll accept anyone but I don’t think that’s true. I still haven’t heard back but I have a feeling it’s not going to be good. Which sucks but c’est la vie.
