i got requested for spring grades yesterday, email went straight to spam. everyone remember to check your spam!! also what does this mean so late? there’s not really any point is there since it’s almost june 1st?
hope i get an update today. i didnt get an sgr but uploaded my spring grades anyways

@transferrrrrrcc SGR students won’t hear back until June/July. Some won’t even hear back till August. However, there were some who heard back hours after submitting SGR.
@gotya55 wow that’s awful. are spring grades usually indicative of getting accepted? i have maintained my GPA, nothing crazy happened in spring. i am already committed to a school but i am glad that USC is still considering me.

@transferrrrrrcc Not sure if I would say it’s an indicative of acceptance, but a good handful do get accepted. As long as your spring grades were strong then I’d say you still have a very good chance of getting into spring, possibly fall as well.
I haven’t heard of anyone getting notified after mid-July, but maybe a few outliers…you should get acceptance, rejection or SGR request today (if you don’t already have one). Fall and spring acceptance come out in July, it does not turn to all spring - that is major dependent not based on when you get accepted.

Y’all i just noticed I have made the most stupid mistake and I need to know whether I should call them or let it be. Although my graduation term is august 2019 from cc, i put august 2018!! I mean it should be obvious that its a typo cuz they see all my coursework in progress but they would think im stupid. Should i call or email

Lol the counselor got so confused but then she said its fine decisions are going out today and then u can explain ur mistake I said if at this point its only rejections she said no we r still sending acceptances so I dont know if thats good news or bad news…
@rozhinging I made a mistake about my high school graduation date, just called them and she said since they got the transcript it should be fine. She also said they’re still sending out acceptances and sgrs and that I will get a response by end of today.
I would never discourage anyone from giving it their all but if you are not accepted and you have another great option, I would strongly suggest you take it. Winning an appeal as a transfer is like winning the lottery, it’s just highly unlikely. In 9 years, I have never heard of a successful transfer appeal. Of course I do not know everything nor hear everything, but not a single one has come about from my view in all that time, and the site says it is very very rare. They would likely move a spring admit to fall or admit another transfer if they had a spot. Just sayin’. Some apply twice and that has worked, but appeals, not hearing those ever working. Sometimes ya gotta love the one your with, as the song so wisely says.
