Accepted spring Annenberg Communications 4.0 gpa got a WGR on the 05/15
Rejected for Global Business. This is my 3rd time applying with a 3.92 GPA. My heart is completely broken.

- Congratulations to those of you who were accepted!! It has been a long fight, but it is finally over! It seems odd that most of you were accepted for spring, but at least you were accepted! I am hoping to see some more acceptance posts coming in over the next few hours. Hopefully we get some fall admits posting in here! Anyways, welcome to the Trojan Family! I am excited to attend USC with you all who decide to commit!
- For those who did not get in, it has been rough this year. Perhaps their transfer acceptance rate has been slashed this year. The freshman rate dropped by quite a bit, so it would not surprise me if transfers did too. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and I know you will all kill it at whatever institution you will attend in the fall. If you are a sophomore applicant who is dedicated to USC, you always have next year to prove them wrong and find your place as a Trojan!
Regardless of your decision, please post your stats in the decisions thread! It will greatly assist future applicants

@bksyazd Please don’t let it get to you personally! So many great applicants get rejected. USC is weirdly picky, there’s so many other great universities that would love to have you. A school cannot guarantee you happiness; if you work hard you can have a good experience at any university.

I got into Spring but USC says that later this summer spots for Fall might be available.
@woshua I’m sorry to hear that. USC is extremely competitive for ANY major. Especially for Marshall. Do you know where you’ll be heading this fall?

@GoodAfternoonSir Damn, I’m really sorry. I know how you feel. I’ve been there. Sorry to all those that didn’t get in. I was crushed the year I was rejected. USC was my last hope. I had no place left to go. I wanted to just quit. I gave CC another try and applied more broadly. I wish you all the best of luck in whatever you do. Whether that’s trying again next year or going to another great school.
@rozhinging Noooo, definitely don’t ask. I inquired about this and my admissions counselor got pretty ticked off. He was actually a bit unprofessional, I’d say. USC let him go this year for being involved in the scandal; I knew there was something I didn’t like about him. USC considers bumping all applicants up to the fall. I tried the insane. I was very immature. I even mailed a letter to Nikias’ home in San Marino asking why I wasn’t accepted for the fall and what I could do…so yeah, all you can do is wait, but otherwise assume you’re starting in the spring.

@HeyItsNick Hey I think you should definitely consider USC for spring! USC is such a tight family and it is amazing that you were accepted! (UCSB is great too). But you can take this extended time off to develop your career, get interns, or work full time somewhere and save money or invest money!
