2019 Holiday gifts for people who have no room for anything and don’t need anything

I’m likely purchasing these digital photo frames for my mother and MIL: https://www.pix-star.com/

The nice thing about them is that anyone can email photos to a designated email address and they immediately begin playing. We have large extended families, so kids and grandkids can email photos from college, vacations, etc. You can also send videos, play weather for your local area, and play radio stations. The best thing is, the mothers don’t have to do anything (one is somewhat tech savvy, but the other is not at all).

@kiddie , we did Christmas cards and a big jigsaw puzzle for SILs family. (Shhh, don’t tell her) on Shutterfly today. I only regret not having time to do other gifts. Hey, if anyone notices 50% off again, please let me know!

Can someone please PM me a current paper coupon code (the MO number or barcode #) for buy buy baby? Thanks!!

I’m looking at the jade and rose quartz facial rollers to give my girls along with the shhhowercap mentioned earlier. Has anyone had any experience with those?

Best experience gifts I have received over the years:
Wine subscription, coffee of the month, gifts certificates to local restaurants I can use for lunch, gift certificate to a nice cheese shop, bookstore (local not Barnes and Noble), we do use the Amazon gift certificates. Basket with some nice things in it and a related gift certificate. Small handmade note or gift and a gift certificate to something nice (the gift doesn’t matter). Useful pottery gifts ( not coffee mugs).
Ones we don’t use that much: Museum of Science for a year ( kids were little and overhead was big), theater tix ( could never get there kids were too busy); cheap gift baskets where the crackers are old, the cheese is fake or it’s more Godiva ( just no thanks, not even the kids like these). Generic mall store gift certificates. Yuck. Terrible selection, don’t really love these mega chains. And you know someone bought it without much thought.
Love a really nice throw blanket if you live in a cold area.

I had to come up with a list for my other half to my family because he was having a hard enough time coming up with gift ideas for his family. They’re getting him slippers, a board game, and a dress shirt. I’m getting him a beer making kit and all the accessories to go with it. And a t-shirt that I thought was funny.

Do they eat anywhere? i told everyone they could get us gift cards to Panera because we go there every Friday.

We like to travel and do a lot of short trips over weekends - so any gift cards towards hotels would be nice too. Maybe for your family also?

As for me, I asked for some stuff for the house - bookshelves, folding table, home depot items for a bathroom remodel i want to do next year… just a thought.

I was just looking on line- saw a shower bluetooth speaker and an acupressure pain relief pen (that one for my SIL). Has anyone tried the pen?

If anyone is looking at the Oprah gift list, we have tried the Spicewalla spices and they are magnificent! They have gift sets! Definitely a good idea for anyone who likes to cook. https://www.spicewallabrand.com

My D loves the Bark box subscription she gets every year from her boss.

I really like the daily calendars. For me, I love fact of the day or word of the day, but for my Secret Santa office buddy this year, I ordered one with facts and trivia on their favorite sports teams. They can take it home or keep it on their desk at work. I have gotten them with various different motifs for other people over the years.

A couple of times I’ve given a nice set of sheets and that’s been well received.

If anyone has friends/family with pets who are their “babies”, may I suggest personalized Christmas stockings for those pets? I just got my D and SIL’s dogs their own stockings from Pottery Barn and they are adorable!

I just ordered DS a collapsible silicone microwave popcorn popper

Along those lines, Land’s End has their needlepoint stockings (some with dogs on them) on sale for $17.47. They are also offering free monogramming.
