Hey! I’m in the same exact boat as you. I got accepted the same day but still haven’t received my financial aid package or any information from USC regarding it. UCLA is my backup so I’m also looking at the June 1st deadline and don’t want to waste the SIR money if USC will send the package the next day. Does anyone else have any information on this or in the same situation? Thanks!

@USCmaraccn @Kellpat I also got accepted last Thursday and got my financial aid package this Wednesday at night. It’s really good and I’m sure USC will deliver for you too with a good financial aid! But if you’re worried just pay deposits at UCLA to have a safety net.

@Kellpat I got an email around 1:30AM that they posted my financial aid on FAST.

@Kellpat Yeah the only reason I would choose UCLA over USC is if they give me no aid at all. Not sure if that’s likely. I’ll probably SIR to UCLA just in case.
Here is some information I wanted to share
USC received 8,800 applications from around the world, while turning away nearly 75% of applicants.
Congrats to everyone that was accepted and keep your hopes up for those who have not heard anything is possible! Even though I do not know any of you in person I can say with confidence that no matter where you go you will find success. It’s been awesome to say the least watching peoples lives be completely be transformed. I wish you all the best and can’t wait to see you Spring 2021. Fight on!
Was accepted to Spring 2021 as a sophomore transfer. Does USC still guarantee
on campus housing for sophomores coming in spring of 2021?
@SlackJack006 Housing only guaranteed to sophomores that were freshman at USC, not to sophomore transfers. Majority of transfers unlikely to get housing this year (which is not new, but even more unlikely this year).
Will decisions come out either today or tommorow? Still waiting to hear back from Viterbi and haven’t seen a wave of acceptances recently from them.
@Brandon1225 I am a viterbi applicant too. I called admission and asked about it. She said that they might be releasing on weekend this week but she wasnt sure.
Same i submitted my SGR back in april when it was requested by everyone. I mean I have to get a reply either today or tomorrow. Im scared especially because im a first year student applying for transfer so ik its harder for me. I applied with a 4.0 GPA from SMC but my HS grades werent too good somewhere around 2.9 or smthn. Hoping for the best.
Anyone hasn’t heard back yet? I didn’t receive an SGR and I’m still waiting…

@buddy1230 Computer Science(Games). Probably not, i havent see a wave of viterbi acceptances in a while so im still hopeful lol.
Similar to a bunch of you guys (which is relieving), I’m Viterbi CS and haven’t heard back either. The last day that someone got admitted into Viterbi (by accounts of this thread and the stats thread) was May 21st. I’m assuming this means a big wave is coming soon.
