@syls0507 so by the time you submitted your application did you have 30 units completed? I’m asking because I’m about to start community college this fall and I’m going to do 16 credits my first semester, but I’ll have 32 completed by the end of my second semester. So I’m confused if they’ll make me submit SAT scores because by the time I submit my application I’ll have 16 credits completed and 16 In progress . Also I never took the SAT. Or ACT main reason why I’m concerned.
Dunno if this is helpful but someone I know got accepted to Marshall as a Spring admit a couple hours ago! If you’re still waiting there’s still hope!
Also @roba7317 check your FAST page- I had to submit my SSN to “start” the process, and they asked me for like 11 additional documents. It should take 3-5 business days once they have all the correct information though.
Has anyone who got a SGR and not had all their unofficial grades on a transcript sent in a canvas screenshot for maybe or or two classes and gotten an admissions decision?
@OldSpiceFiji, I was in the same exact situation as yours. SAT/ACT scores are optional and you are most likely be asked for a spring grade request.( if your fall GPA in college was decent) If this is the case, you will have to have at least 30 units when finishing your spring semester to be evaluated mostly on college GPA.
@CADREAMIN, when will the next year transfer thread start?
Got into Marshall on Tuesday
@syls0507 oh dope. Last question so they won’t really look at your high school transcripts

@KyawCR7 anytime. I was gonna start one toward end of June if no one has by then, was waiting a bit just so current transfers don’t go to wrong thread.
Has anyone submitted an appeal after getting rejected?
Currently day 43 without a response :,) 16 days since I submitted my spring grades for my SGR
.
@CADREAMIN in your experience, do you know of the admissions counselors hastening a decision for students that have summer term start offers from other schools?
@OldSpiceFiji, if you finish more than 30 units by the end of the 2nd semester at a CC. Yea, they don’t look too closely on Highschool GPA
Anybody can start a thread, including you!
@AE2000 Oh my, that’s a long time to wait! Torture, in fact! I hope you hear back this week…
Hello guys, I was accepted about 3 weeks ago. I know that we must submit our final transcript from the college that we are transferring in from but I will be taking a class this summer so should I just wait to finish the summer class and then send in my transcript? I’m a CS major and I’ll be taking Differential Equations this summer.
Send it now, then send it in with DE when it is done. If you wait too long it will be 2021 before you get your TCR. Ok not that bad, but the closer to August, the longer you wait for it.
Hi,
I am an international student and I am still waiting for my decision. I didn’t receive SGR but I am requested to submit English Proficiency score report (I don’t have it!!). I submitted my transfer application on the deadline,Feb 1. I think the rolling basis may cause this delay for my decision. My transferred major is international business and my gpa was 3.85 overall, and 4.0 on 2019 Fall. And I already finished about 64 transferrable units.
I want to ask will my application be reviewed although I am not able to submit my english proficiency score report?I see USC said that this score will not affect admission decision.
@333usc - I submitted an appeal 3 weeks ago (May 26th) and haven’t heard back yet.
