See HailtoPitt post on the 2024 Pitt thread… maybe he’s wrong? I don’t know.
I just called Honors college to verify. All invites went out last week.
I find this process so confusing. What does it take to send one email inviting to the competition and one saying “sorry you weren’t chosen”? Then it is clear and you aren’t just waiting and waiting and hoping for an extended period of time Good luck to those that have been chosen! Very exciting!
@mychicas well that agrees with what @hailtopitt1787 said. Looks like all the invites are out ?
I just spoke to the admission office and the lady told me that “most” of the invites have gone out by email and post and later in the conversation she told me “all the invites have gone out” and the university has started the interview process
My D received an email last night on Chancellors and they will be confirming skype interview times starting Friday Feb 14
Congratulations! Can I ask when your D received the email? Best of luck to her!
Nevermind. I see last night. Good luck!
@jbrwkACK congrats to your Daughter!!
I received an email invitation to sign up for interviews on-campus last week. They may be offering Skype interviews to OOS applicants. I live about 6 hours away but am still in PA.
@az2630 congratulations!!
We are really looking forward to visiting Pitt this weekend. Second time there. We are touring the city on our own over the weekend and going to Admitted Students Day on Monday. Anyone else have kids participating in the women in engineering programming?
Coming today in USPS informed delivery a letter from Pitt Admissions & Financial Aid dated 1/31, postmarked 2/12. I’m assuming its a rejection for Chancellors?
I don’t think a rejection is sent. Just an invite.
@croaswife I see the same letter. Dated 1/31 but arriving today. So far my daughter has received no merit aid so she has been hoping for some good news.
Can someone update on the 1/31 letters when the arrive? Informed delivery says we have one coming today, also date 1/31, postmark 2/11, but we are out of town. Already received Honors College invite and merit award, so very curious. Thanks!
Financial aid information.
