is anyone elseās portal down? iām a part of the group that got deferred to the priority application filing group bc there were too many EA applicants.

@ziveli513 yea thatās the one iām getting. i remember people were saying the portal went down before decisions came out. i wonder if thatās happening right now.
@sagh527 that would be great, but I think When decisions were coming it was after people had logged in to their portals where a message was displayed?

Poor @ziveli513 , you really have been waiting a long time. Thereās a devilish part of me that would love to send PSU an email saying that āI received more bills than expected last month and must defer my daughterās tuition payment for the next time I decide to pay billsā¦ā Somehow I donāt think that would fly. Sorry. I love PSU. Iāve just come to accept that big, popular, reputable schools like Penn State get to call all the shots.

Just keep in mind fall enrollment was down at PSUā¦ I donāt think any other major univ does what they do sending students to regional campusesā¦ I donāt get why they do this

I applied back in the beginning of August and got deferred to the priority filing (even though my twin sister got her acceptance before the 24th deadline) but my portal is showing an error message!!! hopefully I get to join her. does anyone know if this message means that i will hear a decision at midnight or is it a computer issue or are too many people trying to log in?

I got in just fine. Son is still deferred. BUT I HAVE A QUESTION about FAFSA. We just did ours, quite late. But for those who did them on time/when they applied, is there somewhere on the portal that shows you PSU GOT the FAFSA results from the government???

@MyaCocoa PSU receipt of FAFSA appears on the portal. I would tell you exactly where if I could get in !
@MyaCocoa On the FAFSA, you fill it out at the Fed Website and they shoot it over to PSU (and up to 10 schools) so there is no intermediate step. Once PSU has it they have it. Nothing more will have to be done. Unless they also require a CSS, but PSU doesnt.
My sons shows they got the FAFSA on the right side under Financial info. under the info. listed for the major that you chose.
I was having the error message for a good half hour but now my account as reloaded, is that a bad sign?

iām able to log in fine now, it might be that theyāre updating it slowly. a lot of people mightāve been impacted by it?? try checking tomorrow and if the problem is still there i would call the admissions office.
