Son was waitlisted today. Glad he had already changed his mind, but still pretty surprising and disappointing when other students from his school with lower grades & scores were at the very least admitted 2+2 back in December.

no idea. i looked and it was just there. we might have been the first wave. theyāre probably doing this so the portal doesnāt crash

Would this be a bad time to mention that UP officially closed the campus at 1pm today due to ice? Hope that doesnāt delay things for yāall.

@pama3115 Honestly I think this year we are gonna see a lot more waitlists cause of such the high volume. I bet itās gonna be a much lower acceptance rate.
I just noticed that the Financial Aid Info Box updated too with a message that was not there prior to the application updating message. Basically says to please submit Fafsa application.
@sagh527 , call tomorrow and see if you can be reconsidered for DUS (undecided) with a summer start.
Wait list is not a denied, there is still hope if I understand correctly?
In this year with overwhelming number of applications itās possible many have been admitted with high stats who wonāt accept (and they have until 5/1)
Those with stats that fall in range of enrolled students shown on the latest CDS, not just admitted students, donāt lose hope
If psu is your top choice it may be worth waiting for on UP wait list
Those that were waitlisted, did you see the application updated message first or just the waitlist decision???
How is everyone getting their decisions? Did you apply in rolling admissions? Isnāt the decision date 1/31? Or is it that for international students?
