Lifelong PA resident here, circling back on this question. You are correct. State College is the town where the university is located. No one refers to Penn State as State, or as State College.

There are no more perfect brackets. There were 110 after yesterday (Iām sure Kty/Oakland felled a lot), but others fell all day. There were 13 left and Colorado over Florida took out 12 of them , and minutes later Yale took out the last one.

I love watching her play our freshman, Madison Booker, in the Big 12 championship. Lots of great players and stories on the womenās side. Wish we got more attention.

NC State and Oakland was a great game. I love that big guy, DJ Burns, of NC State. Quick moves around the basket, excellent passer, shoots FTās really well, and a lefty.

I was so impressed by Burns. Big, wide body who plays with grace, has a great touch with the ball & is so well spoken.

Looks like itās going to be three teams from North Carolina in the sweet sixteen if Duke keeps up this drubbing of James Madison. I was really pulling for JMU but I guess itās good for the ACC.
Now letās see what Clemson can do with Baylor.
Too bad the UNC women are out but UofSC is a tough team to beat.
