Thank you- I seriously have never heard of this - and don’t remember ever seeing it!

Spring is just starting by me.

Finally starting to feel like spring out here. Weeping cherry is so gorgeous and the yellow wild daffodils just make me feel so happy.

New peony bloom today

I know! I love how the bumblebees love borage. I’ll probably let some grow and complain about it again. Plus the blossoms are pretty in a cocktail.

Last night’s storm wreaked havoc with the irises, so they came to join the peonies.

I know many people love them, and I inherited a bunch of them in this yard we have now, but I am not a fan of iris! I do have some Siberian iris that I don’t mind but I wish I could trade my other iris out! (Bring on the peonies though!)

Siberian Iris

They are quite tall - like 4 feet?

Mine were given to me as rejects (extras) from someone else’s garden, and they actually grew!

Yours are beautiful. Love the color!

This is a stock photo as it’s too early for mine - but this is what they will look like!

But really any color outside is a win!

What is the 2nd and third photo?

As long as we are showing yard photos…

This was a couple days ago - these little purple Greek anemone are a favorite! They come up all around the yard - in beds, grass and stone!

And one of my husbands favorites that he brought over to this house… Virginia Bluebells!

While our visiting grandchild took a nap, I transplanted tomatoes from egg cartons to small pots. My kitchen counter space has substantially shrunk!

ETA. Here is how it looks… note the spiked pad under the pots. This is to deter the cat :black_cat: from exploring the seedlings.
