<p>An add on to Vince: I know of two recruited Athletes (from a couple years ago when D applied to colleges). One was a vali and attends Stanford and the other was in the top 20% of her graduating class (AP scholar with honor) and attends Yale as an athlete. I think there are still a few with low end stats but in this ultra competitive college market, many of the athletes are working hard on academics too. </p>

<li>just remembered: S had a classmate last year who is a current recruited freshman and possibly going pro this year (BB) - he was no slouch either - just didn’t have the time to dedicate to multiple AP classes but certainly had good grades/scores.</li>
