3-2 Engineering program

The 3-2 engineering program exists at a lot of liberal arts schools, not just Wesleyan. I haven’t met with any students who have done in specifically, but I have spoken to a professor who’s worked with such students - apparently the three years at Wesleyan are a bit more packed (i.e. less electives) with the classes you need, but other than that, the students he’d worked with had all enjoyed very positive experiences. I’m sorry that I really can’t be much more help than that. There tend to be a very small (but existent) number of students who do it each year. More (objective) information can be found at http://www.wesleyan.edu/physics/ugee/3-2.html</a>, and you might want to read through it, if you haven’t already. Someone good to talk to might be the head of the physics department… they may be able to put you in contact with someone who has gone through the program!
