3:2 programs as back-door into CS?

The Penn program actually offers a masters after the fifth year so I could see it being very popular over the programs that offer two bachelors or in some cases only one bachelors degree.

My 2 cents, if you are smitten by the idea of the 3+2 program with a back route to CS at big-name schools, choose a school that is well known to the tech companies in case the 3+2 does not pan out. The key here is the 3.0 GPA until the moderation and declaring that you intend to apply for the 3+2 at the LAC. Maintaining the GPA can be difficult. Moreover, these programs use a bunch of set classes that are required for this pathway and do not offer AP credit in those subjects.
