<p>you are required to take 2 years of language in high school (3 recommended). It will only count if the language courses are the same, meaning you cant mix it up.</p>
<p>I got in with 2 years of language. I did not mention it in my essay since it is not as important as other factors that might hurt my admission. Use your essay to write something more unique (which you probably turned in already).</p>
<p>don’t worry too much if you didn’t take 3 years of language. Try to be involved, and take more AP/honors courses.</p>
