Who has the most posts on CC?

I love having two computer monitors. I can look at sites such as CC on one screen while I’ve got something “cooking” on the other. Occasionally, I’ll have to use a computer with only one monitor, and it drives me nuts now!

Why do you need a whole monitor? Can’t you just pull up CC on one window while working on something else? Am I missing something?

Monitors have varying resolutions. 17 inch monitors typically have 1280x1024 resolution and you can’t fit that much on such a display. Some laptops even have quite a bit less. Most of the engineers where I work have from 2 to 5 monitors (I’m in the 5 monitor category). It’s nice to be able to look at a bunch of different things without moving things around.

My engineer husband has at least two monitors going and he’s RETIRED!!!

ah, the visual spatial world…it is so far beyond me, but…thank you

fauve,
I’m on CC at the office sometimes but I work with my husband in our own company so as I always tell people “I can do what I want, I’m sleeping with the boss!”

I learned so much from CC that it’s hard to stay away. My kids know I post but not my screen name or so I believe.
I try not to write about personal things but not always successful.
My college D said she gets links to many good articles from the Parent Cafe. She has a few favorite posters.
One way to test my inner strength is to see how many days can I say away from CC. ![]()
That’s how I know that I am weak.
CC is the best way to stay sane while dealing with teenagers’ drama. It’s cheaper than therapy. :)
