What you are saying is exactly how my Mid feels. They do not need to be held by the hand 24/7. They are bright kids. They know what they need to do and when to do it. Mando meals all week long with Monday through Friday night mando study time is not the way to teach leadership, study skills or the likes.

These kids have no time to hang out - develop outside interests. They can’t even do something like play golf after class on Friday - can’t get a round in and be back for Mando Meal - or for that matter go sailing like they did on Friday afternoons Plebe Year again no time with Formation and Mando meal. One dimensional Mids is what USNA will be developing. BORING!
