<p>My grandmother does NOT know how to use Word. Actually, many people aged 50 and up are incapable of effectively using Microsoft software. So…yeah, it’s a skill, especially if you’re competing against older candidates.</p>
<p>Also, I agree that “such as” and “utilize” are not snobby smart kid words. They are words belonging to any college graduate worth his weight.</p>
<p>*Edit: Actually, my grandmother is afraid of computers, so she doesn’t computer programs or the internet. :)</p>
