Since all CC classes are also lower-division, you’re free to take as many CC classes as you want - so long as you haven’t taken too many upper-division courses at a 4-year.

Note that they add to the cap of 70 all units you have taken at a UC campus, whether lower or upper division. See the link I gave.

However the OP is fine with just 3 of these units.
