Haha, very creative @luder16 ! She’s got to get her stuff to the dorm building next door, so probably a rolling chair won’t work. Love the ingenuity though.
She actually liked the kitchen in the next dorm better, so she did roll it outside. Luckily the dorms were on the same level, right next to each other, and the ground was paved, so not too difficult.
Freshman year at college one of my daughter’s dorm neighbors had one of those carts. Her friends used it for so many things - the funniest was when they bought 2 big old fashioned TVs at the start of school for Trash to Treasure sale for $10 each and rolled them back to their rooms.
Update:
I got my D a canvas tote bag that holds
-stacking bowl/measuring cups/measuring spoons set. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GVMW044/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (only useless thing, for her, is the colander.)
-smallish baking tray
-small regular spatula
-small and medium scraping spatulas
-small sturdy mixing spoon
-ordinary fork
-small cooling rack
-parchment
-a tin with cinnamon, vanilla, almond extract, sugar crystals for decorating, small tube of marzipan, saffron, salt, small packet of crushed hazelnuts, and nutmeg.
-$25 gift card to local grocery store so she can get whatever ingredients she needs
-two pot holders
-small cake pan
-small whisk
She was thrilled and took it back to college with her, where she’s already baked some stuff. A big success!
