<p>20 years ago when I first starting going to my dermatologist, she used a Polaroid camera and kept the photos in my file. Of course, now if’s all digital and the photos are stored on her computer. We’ve come a long way! </p>
<p>She’s always said she doesn’t know how any dermatologist can do their job well without taking pictures because often times the first clue to skin cancer is not how the mole looks but how it is changing.</p>
