<p>netthreat, There’s a LOT of variety in how much aid is available for transfers. Some schools have merit aid that is specifically geared to transfer students. (In my experience, state schools have those because they’re targeting top community college students.) Other ‘meet full need’ schools are willing to meet transfers’ needs. It just depends on the school. Remember that even schools that aren’t need blind may meet full need. Lots of schools aren’t need blind to transfers but they may be generous to one they want. If you’re thinking of transferring, you really need to call each school.</p>
