A must read 'laugh until you cry' story by Dave Barry

Bumping this thread up.

I just had my third colonoscopy, this time with a different prep. Thankfully I didn’t have to swallow eight thousand gallons of that awful stuff. This prep consisted simply of five Dulcolax pills at 4:00 PM, followed by a 10-ounce bottle of that awful citric of magnesia stuff at 5:00 PM. Things started happening at around 6:00 PM. It was very easy to ingest all that, but truth be told I was up all night. My last “event” occurred at 2:30 AM. I was afraid it would never stop.

The doc praised my prepping and I don’t have to do this again for five years.

Last prep I did consisted of taking pills and any liquid of my choice.

No drinking anything disgusting at all.

The drawback was you have to eventually take 32 of the darn pills over a few hours.

Anyway, worked well, did the job.

Not again for 10 years…

32!!! OMG. I had only five and I was afraid that . . . – well, let’s just leave it at that.

Ewwwwwwwwwww. TMI. Interesting thread to be at the top of the feed during the lunch hour. Did I way ewwww??? Let me repeat… eeeeewwwwwwwww
