<p>From what I’ve seen, Mt. Sinai serves the upper and middle classes. The worlds’ best pediatric allergist is there, and I’ve been there many times with S1 for consultations, tests, etc.</p>
<p>The immediate neighborhood is quite nice. It probably gets a bit dicey to the north, but I would not let concerns about the neighborhood affect your decision.</p>

<p>Mount Sinai proudly serves two neighborhood populations, the posh upper East Side and the Hispanic neighborhood that borders it to the north. New York City is at your fingertips, but you will need to take the subway downtown to find much to do as there’s nothing much happening for young people in the immediate neighborhood. It is an excellent hospital and a highly regarded medical school. Best of luck.</p>
