A warning to those planning on attending law schook for the $$

If you scan the list for USNWR top 20 schools, you will find that the vast majority of students at every school graduate with debt. And the average debt exceeds $100,000 for 16 of those top 20 schools. It exceeds $90,000 for 19 of the top 20 schools (the single exception is the University of Texas, a public school, where the average law school debt is “only” $78,408).</p>

<p>And it’s not just top 20 schools. Of the 193 law schools in the debt ranking, 88 have average debts above $100,000.</p>
