My DD spent all summer studying and working to bring her SAT scores up. She has raised her practice test score by 150 points since her last SAT. The problem is she won’t be able to take the SAT again until August with results coming out early September. Is that too late for higher tier/competitive schools?
No, many schools have application deadlines much later than this. And she can always email application updates after applying.

Yes, she can. But look at the application deadlines for all of the schools on her list. Unless it’s a rolling admission school, the deadline will likely be after September. I’d advise waiting until she has her scores to submit applications.

The early application deadline is typically Nov 1 for most schools. Some have an Oct 15 deadline, but in any case early September won’t be an issue.
