<p>I am resurrecting this thread from last season, because we are now in the same situation. My D just received her academic acceptance to PP, but her audition (Acting) takes place in January. That will also be her first time visiting the school due to the distance. </p>
<p>The acceptance letter encourages her to make deposit by Dec. 3rd! While the letter does say the deposit is refundable before May 1, it also notes that she should contact her admissions counselor if she is not able to meet the deadline date. </p>
<p>It would be helpful to know what others did or are doing in this situation. Do other schools “encourage” early deposit" upon academic acceptance?</p>
