<p>Talekd to kiddo’s admission counsellor today, as her suggested due date for the deposit was today, and she just auditioned on 10/30 (so hasn’t heard artistically yet). He said that not depositing early does NOT jeopardize one’s space at the school, but strongly suggested that we send it ASAP if she receives artistic acceptance, as it does put you in the pool sooner for other admissions stuff – they won’t send housing/registration information w/out it. </p>
<p>We chose to pay the deposit because it is refundable, this school is high on kiddo’s list if accepted, and there are so many details from so many schools, didn’t want to mess up somewhere by missing a deadline/forgetting. But now am wondering what to do with the “Acceptance of Full Time Admissions” form – she doesn’t want to accept unless/until she knows her plans for next year, but also doesn’t want to mess up anything. Nowhere in the letter do we see anything about the acceptance decision being required until 5/1… guess it’s another call to the counsellor…</p>
